Welcomelink_2

Welcome to the CodeBots platform documentation.

If you get stuck, need access, or just want to sanity-check an approach, start with Getting Access and Support and say hi on Mattermost šŸ‘‹.

Resourceslink_2

In CodeBots, a resource is a top-level, addressable artefact that represents a unit of capability or state in the platform.

The most common resources you’ll work with are:

  • Bots: Collections of models, repositories, and pipelines grouped to deliver a capability.
  • Pipelines: Automated workflows made up of steps that transform models, generate outputs, validate rules, and more.
  • Metamodels: The blueprints that define the structure of your models (classes, attributes, references).
  • Models: Instances that conform to a metamodel; they capture the important parts of a system or idea.
  • Visuals: Visual libraries and diagram shapes that make models easier to create, read, and work with.
  • Repositories: Versioned storage for generated outputs and other files, typically backed by Git.

Resources are managed through Dependencies (how resources relate and reuse each other) and can be shared across organisations using the Marketplace.

Learning Pathwayslink_2

We believe in golden paths: guided, end-to-end workflows that are reliable, repeatable, and easy to support; our Learning Pathways are curated routes through the docs, so if you’re new, start with Getting Started and follow the recommended sequence.

Speaking a common language increases understanding šŸ¤šŸ’”. The Terminology page is the shared glossary we use across the platform and documentation.
